866. Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he will approve an application for single farm payment in respect of a person (Details Supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [47595/12]
View answerAn application under the single payment scheme/disadvantaged areas scheme was received from the person named on the 26 April 2012. In order to comply with EU requirements, the application was one of a number which was selected for inspection and therefore payment could not be made pending the outcome of this process. The inspection and related processes have been completed and an advance payment under the 2012 single payment scheme issued on the 1st of November 2012. The balancing payment will be made in December 2012.
