On 20th August 2012 a letter was issued to the person concerned advising him that he was required to submit an updated Garda National Immigration Bureau card confirming his immigration status, as his current card was due to expire on 8th September 2012. As this card was not submitted, his claim was closed on 10th September 2012. The person concerned can attend his Social Welfare Local Office at any time to make a new application for jobseeker’s allowance, where he will need to re-submit all relevant documents including a current Garda National Immigration Bureau card.
