Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will forward a copy of the memo V7 which refers to the requirements for the position of deputy principal which may also be referred to in circular letter 06/02 which may deal with this; and if he will outline the current position on this matter. View answerCircular PPT 06/02 is the most recent Circular to have issued regarding eligibility for appointment to Deputy Principal posts in Vocational Schools and Community Colleges. Candidates for appointment are required to have a minimum of five years' whole-time teaching service or its equivalent.
I will arrange for a copy of Memo V.7 and Circular PPT 06/02 to be sent to the Deputy.
