Deputy Seán Kenny asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he will contact the Chief Executive Officer of Iarnród Éireann and ask the reason the ticket office at (details supplied) is closed at periods during the day when the office is supposed to be opened and manned all day; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The issue raised is an operational matter for  Iarnród Éireann and not one in which I have any role.  I have referred the Deputy's question to the company for direct reply.  Please advise my private office if you do not receive a reply within ten working days.
