256. Deputy Finian McGrath asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the total number of Government special advisers employed in his Department; the total cost of employing these advisers and the cost of employing these advisers; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [53319/12]

There are two special advisers employed in my Department.  Their salaries are €105,837 per annum and €83,337 per annum.
