View answerI have this week made regulations extending the final date for completion of sales under the 2011 Fixed-term Tenant Purchase Scheme for Long-standing Tenants from 31 December 2012 to 30 June 2013. This will facilitate the completion of sales in respect of which purchase applications were made by 31 December 2011 but the amending regulations do not permit any further purchase applications to be made under the scheme.
