179. Deputy Tom Fleming asked the Minister for Education and Skills when a decision will issue in relation to a student grant application in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [53756/12]

Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support Ireland that the student referred to by the Deputy has already been awarded a student grant and that an award letter issued on 22nd November 2012.
