183. Deputy Tom Fleming asked the Minister for Education and Skills when a decision will issue in relation to a student grant application in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [53784/12]

Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support Ireland that in the case of the student referred to by the Deputy, a grant has been awarded and an award letter issued on 3 December 2012.
