Deputy John O'Mahony asked the Minister for Education and Skills the reason a person (details supplied) in County Mayo has not received their grant payment from Student Universal Support of Ireland having been awarded a grant from SUSI; when will a payment be made; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) that further documentation was received from the student referred to by the Deputy on 12th November 2012 and this documentation is currently awaiting review. The student will be notified directly of the outcome.
