Deputy Mary Lou McDonald asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government further to Statutory Instrument 291 of 2012, if he will provide a list of existing city and county managers who will still be entitled to special pension privileges on retirement of up to ten added years and a special severance gratuity payment of up to a half year salary as provided for under Article 78 of the Local Government (Superannuation)(Consolidation) Scheme 1998. Local Authority Managers who held the office prior to 26 July 2012 are entitled to be considered for superannuation benefits under Article 78 (1) of the Local Government (Superannuation) (Consolidation) Scheme 1998 to 2012.
