Deputy Patrick Nulty asked the Minister for Health if he will ensure that there are no further cuts in funding for Prosper Fingal in view of the vital services they provide to persons with intellectual disabilities; if his attention has been drawn to the increase in demand for services provided by Prosper Fingal; his policy regarding same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Pending completion of the national estimates, budgetary and service planning process for 2013 it is not possible to predict the service levels to be provided at a national level, or through individual agencies such as Prosper Fingal, next year.
