A Scheme was prepared for the bog in question but was not operated. Due to the fact that a number of technical issues arose the matter is still under consideration. The person named is not the owner of the bog. The position is that the fee simple of the bog is owned by a number of individuals and the turbary rights are in the name of the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine as successor to the former Irish Land Commission.
