I can confirm to the Deputy that officials from my Department recently carried out an examination of the existing primary school buildings in the area to which he refers and a report will now be prepared. As the Deputy will be aware, my Department's attention is primarily focused on identifying and securing a suitable site for a new post primary school building in the area and my Department is working closely with the relevant Local Authority in relation to this matter.
