190. Deputy Michael P. Kitt asked the Minister for Education and Skills when a Student Universal Support Ireland grant payment will be processed in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Galway; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [55515/12]

Officials in my Department have confirmed with Student Universal Support Ireland that, in the case of the student referred to by the Deputy, a grant has already been awarded and an award letter issued on 22 November 2012.
