Deputy Patrick O'Donovan asked the Minister for Health if a decision will be made as a matter of urgency in relation to the inclusion or otherwise of a condition (details supplied) under the long term illness scheme in the Health Service Executive West in view of the fact that the delay in this decision is causing undue financial hardship to a family [55498/12]

The Health Service Executive is responsible for the administration of the Long Term Illness Scheme. The HSE has therefore been asked to examine this matter and to reply to the Deputy as soon as possible.
