667. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Health if he will review the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny who has been refused their appeal relative to their application for the fair deal scheme because they are unable to pay the balance of €164; if the exceptional circumstances around the care of their spouse will be re-examined in order that they can be placed in full time care without delay; his views on whether the Health Service Executive may be negligent in their duty of care by not responding positively to the appeal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
