63. Deputy Gerry Adams asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade if he has been in contact with the Northern Secretary of State Theresa Villiers in relation to the recent decision to suspend the inquests into the victims of the Ballymurphy Massacre. [53793/12]
View answerThe decision to suspend the inquests into the deaths of those killed in Ballymurphy and others - and any appeal of those decisions - are before the courts in Northern Ireland and, as such, it would be inappropriate to comment at this time. My officials remain in close contact with the Ballymurphy campaign. The Taoiseach has agreed to meet with the families and I understand that officials are liaising with the families to identify a suitable time for their meeting.
