The application of the person named under the 2012 Disadvantaged Areas Scheme was received in my Department after the closing date for receipt of applications. It was, therefore, in the normal course ineligible under the Scheme.

However, following submission of acceptable supporting documentation, relating to exceptional mitigating circumstances, it has been possible to accept the application. Accordingly, processing of the application has now been finalised and payment will shortly issue, directly to the nominated bank account.
