Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the sentencing policy that operates here with regard to those that are convicted of political offences; the policy that operates here that stipulates where male and female prisoners convicted of political offences are to serve their sentences; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
