Deputy Denis Naughten asked the Minister for Social Protection further to Parliamentary Question No. 190 of 8 November 2012, if she will outline the results of the fraud and error survey on the child benefit scheme; when the report will be published; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe Department has undertaken a fraud and error survey on Child Benefit and the results will be published on the Department’s website in the next few weeks. The findings from the survey confirm the Department's view that Child Benefit is very low risk in terms of fraud and error and that the scheme’s existing control policy is effective.
