Anti-Social Behaviour

Dáil Éireann Debate, Wednesday - 6 February 2013

Questions (251)

Thomas P. Broughan

Question:

251. Deputy Thomas P. Broughan asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport his views that the contact number to report anti-social behaviour in unmanned DART and rail stations (details supplied) in Dublin 13 is an 1850 high cost number which acts as a disincentive for commuters to report graffiti, anti-social and other criminal activity; his views that there should be a less costly service, perhaps developed with the support of ComReg, to allow commuters to report anti-social behaviour; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
