Deputy Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine based on an average payment of €270 per hectare of single payment paid as per the Commission’s proposals on the reform of the common agricultural policy, the amount that would be paid on a flat rate basis on all land in a holding in excess of 25 hectares if a payment of €350 per hectare was paid on the first 25ha; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
