128. Deputy Peadar Tóibín asked the Minister for Finance if he will set out in tabular form based on geographical regions, Dublin north west, south east and so on, new lending to small and medium enterprises in the past two years. [7895/13]
View answerThe pillar banks report to my Department and to the Credit Review Office on credit on a regional basis but this is commercially sensitive information and I am not in a position to release it. The Central Bank does not publish information on credit on a regional basis. In his tenth quarterly report published on 11 February, the Credit Reviewer said “I have observed no geographic region or trade sector being relatively adversely affected by this contraction in these two banks.”
