225. Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Social Protection when rent allowance will be approved in the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8010/13]

The rent supplement claim from the person concerned has now been approved. Notification of this decision has now been issued to him and he will receive his first payment at the end of this month including any arrears due.
