As a result of a number of incidents since their closure, additional security measures have been put in place at Rockhill House, Donegal and Columb Barracks, Mullingar. For obvious reasons it is not my Department’s policy to go into specific detail in relation to those measures but I can say that the effectiveness of the security measures are being continuously monitored. Approximately €17,400 per month is being paid in respect of those security measures.
