Deputy Michael Moynihan asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he has raised any concern with the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine in relation to the effect the proposed sale of the forest crop could have on rural recreation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have not had discussions with the Minister of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, or his Department in relation to the effect the proposed sale of the forest crop could have on rural recreation. My Department is currently considering the various issues associated with the proposal and the potential impacts on rural recreation.
