Deputy Eoghan Murphy asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the reason Dublin is not more prominent in tourist advertising information, with Dublin not even featuring on the official website of Tourism Ireland website, www.ireland.com, in the first 13 places to go; and if he plans to rectify this. The matter raised is an operational one for Tourism Ireland Limited as the body responsible for promoting the island of Ireland as a visitor destination overseas.
