Deputy Seán Ó Fearghaíl asked the Minister for Health the number of discretionary medical cards in place on both the 31 December 2010 and the 31 December 2011; the number of general practitioner visit cards in place on both the 31 December 2010 and the 31 December 2011; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
