245. Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Skills if an application to Student Universal Support Ireland now under appeal to the students grants appeals board in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Carlow will be expedited and approved in view of the hardship of the case. The independent Student Grants Appeal Board is in receipt of an appeal from the student in question. The appeal is due for consideration on the 27th March next. The student will be notified directly of the outcome by the Appeals Board.
