Deputy Maureen O'Sullivan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if he has received a report on the last consignment of the shipping of cattle from Ireland to Libya detailing the condition of the cattle when they landed, injuries, deaths and so on; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The information available to my Department from reports received from the exporters and from the ship owners is that all 2,882 cattle arrived fit and healthy in Libya. There were no mortalities.
