Deputy Heather Humphreys asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if there has been a reduction in personnel as a result of the reduced number of strategic projects being undertaken by the National Roads Authority; the cost savings that have been achieved as a result of this reduction; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerAs Minister for Transport, Tourism & Sport, I have responsibility for overall corporate governance of the National Roads Authority (NRA). However, the remuneration of staff in the Authority is a day to day matter for the NRA. Noting this position, I have referred the Deputy’s question to the NRA for direct reply.
