129. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Taoiseach if he will set out in tabular form the names of all State owned or substantially State funded organisations under his Department whose latest accounts laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas are more than one year old - that is, relating to a period ending before May 2012; and those of all such organisations whose latest accounts are more than two years old - that is, relating to a period ending before May 2011. The National Economic and Social Council (NESC) is the only State Agency under the aegis of my Department. The following table provides the information requested by the Deputy.

National Economic and Social Development Office

Accounts for year ended 31 December 2011 were laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas on 18 September, 2012.

The audit of NESDO's accounts for the year ended 31 December, 2012 is ongoing. In accordance with the National Economic and Social Development Office Act 2006, NESDO's accounts and a copy of the Comptroller and Auditor General's (C & AG) report on the accounts shall be presented to the Taoiseach as soon as the audit is complete, and the Taoiseach will subsequently arrange for the accounts and a copy of the C & AG report on the accounts to be laid before each House of the Oireachtas.
