View answerIreland already has a diplomatic mission which represents it in Occupied Palestinian Territory. This is the Representative Office in Ramallah, which is responsible for the Government’s relations with the Palestinian National Authority and the Palestinian people more generally.
Re-designation of the Office in due course as an Irish Embassy will be a very welcome symbolic step which will accompany the establishment and recognition of a functioning and sovereign Palestinian State.
