Aviation security arrangements including those related to the carriage of firearms on board aircraft at Irish airports are kept under continuous review by my Department, by the Irish Aviation Authority and by the National Civil Aviation Security Committee. It is not the practice to comment on specific security measures and arrangements in place at Irish airports or on the monitoring activities carried out.
