Deputy Alan Farrell asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he has received an official request for permission to demolish a semi-derelict building block (details supplied) in County Dublin; when permission will be granted; and if he will make a statement on the matter. My Department understands that any such work would be carried out by Fingal County Council in accordance with Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations 2001 and my consent/approval is not therefore required.
