The child benefit claim of the person concerned was disallowed on 28 May 2013 as she was not then considered to satisfy the habitual residence condition. Her residency status remained undecided and she did not have the legal right to reside in the State.

Her circumstances have since changed as she has now been granted permission to reside in the State by the Department of Justice and Equality. She has now been asked to forward documentation relating to this decision. On receipt of this documentation her entitlement to child benefit will be reviewed.
