A project manager has been appointed by my Department to oversee the delivery of the project referred to by the Deputy. Tenders for the project are due for return on July 15th 2013 and the relevant officials from Waterford City Council have been kept updated in relation to the project progress. Assuming no issues arise it is anticipated that construction will commence in Quarter four 2013. This project is being co-funded by Waterford City Council; therefore all funding queries on the public library should be raised with Waterford City Council in the first instance.
