Deputy Brian Walsh asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government the number of requests received in the period 1 March 2013 to 30 May 2013 from Galway City Council seeking sanction to fill positions at the local authority, the outcome of each of these requests, the nature of each of the positions, and the term of the contract in each case where the filling of the position was sanctioned.
