1158. Deputy Dessie Ellis asked the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport the cost of public transport to the State for the period from 2008 to 2012; and if he will provide details of same. [34853/13]

The cost of public transport to the State for the period in terms of Public Service Obligation payments and capital funding is set out in the following table. This does not include funding such as the Free Travel Pass scheme which is provided by another Department, in this case the Department of Social Protection.
