289. Deputy Pearse Doherty asked the Minister for Finance if Anglo Irish Bank advanced a loan to a person (details supplied) in 2009; if so, his views on a loan being advanced to this person, despite their being a member of the Maple ten; and his views on whether a loan like this should not have drawn the attention of the public interest directors in the bank.
