535. Deputy Patrick Nulty asked the Minister for Social Protection if assistance will be given to a person (details supplied) in Dublin 15 in securing an emergency needs payment to help towards patient transport to their disability service; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [34756/13]
View answerMy Department's local staff in Dublin 15 have been in contact with Mr. Ryan's family in this instance. The advice given is that they should attend a meeting with an officer from the Department's welfare service at Roselawn Health Centre where all available options and choices will be discussed. It is hoped that this will happen next week.
