My Department took the recent decision to withdraw the planning application associated with the development of car-parking facilities at the Burren National Park as it is of the view that the proposal needs to be further considered in the context of the wider management of the Burren National Park and present Exchequer funding constraints. To date, €6,218 has been spent on the project.
