Deputy Regina Doherty asked the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government if he will provide in tabular form the number of amendments to legislation he proposed on Committee and Report Stages in Seanad Éireann in 2012; if he will provide in tabular form the number of his own amendments accepted; and if he will indicate in tabular form the number of amendments accepted from members of the Seanad, broken down by Senator. The information requested is not readily available in my Department and its compilation would involve a disproportionate amount of time and effort. I refer to the “Bill Amendments” page of the website of the Houses of the Oireachtas, www.oireachtas.ie which provides relevant source information, including details of all amendments tabled and amendments made at each stage of each Bill during 2012.
