View answerMy Department is currently finalising a bioenergy strategy following intensive cross-Departmental and stakeholder engagement. The strategy will set out in detail the actions required to optimise the bioenergy sector’s contribution to the 2020 renewable energy targets, taking account of available financing mechanisms. It will be published later this year.
