Deputy Jim Daly asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he has had any discussions with the Irish National Teachers Organisation regarding their opposition to graduate teachers working in Irish primary schools under the JobBridge scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Circular 46/2011 JobBridge National Internship Scheme outlines the JobBridge scheme as it applies in recognised schools. The circular was agreed with the staff and management partners including the INTO prior to its publication in October 2011.
