467. Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Justice and Equality his plans for the legislation on prostitution here after the publishing of the Oireachtas justice committee report on prostitution in Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [42371/13]

The position is that I have written to the Chairman seeking clarification of recommendations made by the Joint Committee on Justice, Defence and Equality. I have also requested legal advices from the Attorney General, and the views of the Minister for Health, on the report.
