View answerThe provision of personal data to Oireachtas members who have received representations from constituents is guided by the recommendations of the Data Protection Commissioner. The Office of the Data Protection Commissioner last issued guidance for Data Controllers on the release of personal data to public representatives in November 2007 and is available on their website.
