215. Deputy Joe Higgins asked the Minister for Health the number of public servants in his Department that are being paid in excess of the Taoiseach's salary and in excess of the Government's pay cap; the annual cost of these excess payments over the past five years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There are no staff employed directly in my Department who are paid in excess of the Taoiseach's salary or the Government's pay cap.

With regard to the Health Service Executive and the other health agencies, they have been asked to collate the data sought as soon as possible and it will be provided directly to the Deputy when available.
