Deputy Billy Kelleher asked the Minister for Health the number of persons availing of private health insurance for each of the years 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, and to date in 2013 in each of the following age groups, 17 years and under, 18 to 29 years, 30 to 39 years, 40 to 49 years, 50 to 59 years, 60 to 69 years, 70 to 79 years, 80 years and over; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
