Deputy Patrick O'Donovan asked the Minister for Education and Skills if he will provide details by county of the number of on-site inspections of private bus operators participating in the school transport scheme by officials of his Department and officials of Bus Éireann in 2011, 2012 and to date in 2013 on buses used to transport children to and from school; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I propose to take Questions Nos. 193 and 194 together. The inspections referred to in the questions are an operational matter for Bus Éireann. I have requested that Bus Éireann forward the information directly to the Deputy.
